Adults and youth may drop in on Tuesdays and Thursdays to the Humboldt office to see a qualified counsellor with no appointment. Walk In Counselling is also available at the Wynyard location on Thursdays, the Wadena Location on Mondays and also alternating Mondays at the Cudworth and Wakaw locations.
Battlefords and Area Sexual Assault Centre
Battlefords & Area Sexual Assault Centre supports, counsels, and provides information to the victims of sexual assault, their families, and significant others, and provides educational/teaching sessions. BASAC is also a resource for education and materials for children and adults in an attempt to foster awareness and aid in the prevention process.

The Alberta Sexual Assault Course and Conference 2020
The full-day course on April 4 is designed to share core training and a management update for urban and rural healthcare professionals on sexual assault. Topics covered will include sexual assault forensic kits, trauma-informed care, chronic pelvic pain, male and transgender sexual health, sexually transmitted infections, strangulation and human trafficking.
The course will be held at Health Science Centre, 3330 Hospital Drive NW in Calgary.
